Actions:
- Uses eye contact before speaking

- Doesn’t stare
- Directs the other peron’s gaze towards them
- Uses eye contact more when listening than talking
What it conveys:
- They are sincere and interested
- They know the balance between too little and too much eye contact
Actions:
- Matches others’ eye contact
- Will ‘outstare’ an aggressive person by looking at the bridge of their nose, not the eyes
What it conveys:
- They are not intimidated
- They are “cool”
